Chic Caribbean Destinations for Early 2025 Getaways
Here’s where I wish I could be in January, February, and March this new year.
Harbour Island, Bahamas
Party island glistened with pink sand beaches and pigs. This is the ultimate preppy luxe trip, but it is pure Bahamian fun. Spend your mornings at Arthur’s bakery or at COCOA coffee house for some fresh baked sweet pastries. Lounge on the clay-like pink beaches and enjoy lunch at a beachside bar. Zhush up for dinner at The Landing or The Ocean View club. Then head to Gusty’s or Daddy D’s after 11 if you’re still up to party. Ideal break from society. Lots of $$$ families present.
Pink Sands
Mini villas or hotel rooms with a path that leads to a great lunch restaurant/daybar right on the pink sand beach with chairs laid out.
Tip: Either stay in their 2 bedroom Oceanview villas (whose views aren’t incredibly great) and use it as a super luxe crash pad and pregame spot between the beach, the bakeries, boutiques, happy hours, and boat rides OR spring for an identical 2 bedroom oceanfront villa but with a direct 50 ft path to the beach from your villa for $400 more/night.
Why book with JSL? I’ve been to Harbour Island thrice. I can give you the rundown of all of the restaurants and their vibes, tell you some hidden gems around the island, help with a boat itinerary, and I have a few other accommodation options if you aren’t into the Pink Sands.
At the Pink Sands, I can get you these perks:
Breakfast for Two Daily
$100 Hotel Credit per Stay (to be used on services such as spa, dining, or selected amenities valued at $100 or more)
Complimentary In-Room Internet
Room Upgrade (subject to availability)
Priority Check-in and Check-out (subject to availability)
St Barths
A fan favorite, this island just has so much to offer. French Caribbean hospitality at it’s finest.
Le Barthélemy
Le Barthélemy Hotel in St. Barths defines beachfront luxury with its seamless blend of coastal chic and impeccable service. This retreat promises a refined escape amid tropical splendor, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a room ON the beach. It is more of a trek to Gustavia, but it’s amenities make you never want to leave anyways.
Why book with JSL? Jack knows the island inside out and loves to help with connecting you to restaurants and shopping you’ll love, so that you don’t have to wonder. Also, apart of a Virtuoso agency, Jack can get you perks like:
Daily breakfast for 2,
Upgrade upon availability
A credit at f&b or spa
Early-checkin or late-checkout based on availability
VIP status added to your reservation.
All at no cost to you.
Casa De Campo, DR
Casa De Campo Resort
This resort IS the destination. Read this from People Magazine:
Everyone from Jennifer Lopez to the Kardashians have been spotted enjoying the luxury hotel, which is complete with its own marina and yacht club, polo and equestrian club, tennis center and 245-acre shooting club. The entire Casa de Campo Resort and Villas spans 7,000 acres along the tropical southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. During their stay, patrons have the choice of staying in a spacious hotel room, a stunning suite or luxury villa. Casa de Campo also has tons of restaurants to try some gourmet cuisine. There are also many bars on the property serving both fine wines and spirits.
They have like 3 clubs, 10 beaches. I’ve heard it’s absolutely awesome. I’ve had a few older friends who went not too long ago and they loved it.
Why book with JSL? I can get you all of these perks on a villa rental:
There are SO many perks for these villas:
