I’m Jack Logan, founder of JSL Travel and an Advanced Advisor with Fora Travel. I’m currently studying hospitality and real estate at Cornell’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration, combining what I learn in the classroom with firsthand experience staying at some of the world’s best hotels.

I have been so lucky to grow up in a family that truly valued travel. From a young age, I was tagging along on trips that shaped my love for hospitality, places like Eden Rock St. Barths, Jumeirah in Mallorca, Maybourne Riviera in France, and Round Hill in Jamaica. Seeing how service, location, and all the factors could turn a stay into a perfect experience made me want to understand how it all worked. That curiosity eventually became a side hustle and a degree.

A charming two-story house with a front porch, wooden shingle siding, and a steep gabled roof, surrounded by lush green trees and a well-maintained yard with a white picket fence and bicycles parked nearby.

I’ve been lucky to experience travel from both sides — as a guest and as someone who helps create it.

I have had two amazing learning experiences in the Hamptons.

At The Roundtree Amagansett, I worked front-of-house at one of the Hamptons’ most intimate luxury properties, learning how to anticipate guest needs and personalize moments that matter.

At Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, I took that further: managing room moves, resolving service issues during construction, and assisting VIP guests during a packed summer season. I became known among the front desk team for being so welcoming to guests and going the extra mile. I even earned mentions in five star reviews for my service!

These experiences grounded me in the real, operational side of hospitality — the details that separate good hotels from best ones.

I’ve been building JSL Travel since the fall of my senior year of high school, when I first became certified through Fora Travel. Now, as an undergraduate at Cornell’s Nolan Hotel School, it has grown into a fully developed travel business with a loyal client base and over $120,000 in booked luxury travel.

Through my agency, I’m able to provide clients access to a global network of preferred hotel partners — meaning better value, personalized service, and extra touches that make a trip feel special. The best part: my service is completely free for clients, since I’m compensated by the hotels.

While I’ve now reached Advanced Advisor status, what matters most to me hasn’t changed, I still approach every trip with the same curiosity and care that got me started. My role is to simplify the process, advocate for my clients, and use my growing industry knowledge to quietly add value behind the scenes.

Let me help with your next trip!
